Jack Scott is an associate of the Deer Park Group providing executive leadership services. Jack is an experienced leader of technology organizations with a focus in the financial services industry. Jack specializes in strategic business alignment, running IT as a business, and improving organizational effectiveness. His experience includes global organizations as well as management of small technology companies in either startup or turnaround situations.

Previously, Jack was SVP/CIO of Kemper Insurance, where he formed Kemper Technology Services as a business within Kemper to provide technology services to a widely diverse group of property and casualty businesses. With heightened business discipline, focused execution against strategic objectives, and collaborative service delivery to users, a highly effective technology management model was created which dramatically improved overall performance of the technology division of Kemper, inclusive of substantial cost reductions and consistent delivery of projects and services to a broad user community.

With leadership experience in financial services inclusive of banking, securities, and insurance, Jack has focused on building strong user engagement and joint management of technology initiatives, with an underpinning of trust through consistent delivery, accountability, and jointly-defined strategic architectures. At Lehman Brothers, Jack led the creation of the technology infrastructure for Lehman as they became publicly-traded in the split from American Express. At Citibank, Jack led the consolidation of multiple banking platforms for the US Consumer Bank. At Bankers Trust, Jack introduced technology to their sizable network of international offices.

Mr. Scott holds a BA in Classics from the University of Buffalo. Jack is a member of American Mensa and has is guest seminar instructor at the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Computer Science.
