Art Murray is an associate of Deer Park Group, Inc, providing highly experienced executive leadership to solve complex business problems. Mr. Murray is President and founder of PAC, Inc., specializing in helping new companies develop the sales and marketing plans for Homeland Security, the military, FBI, FEMA, state and local public services, major system integrators and Fortune 100 manufacturers. His product areas are in software, communications and tactical systems with the MIT Media Lab, DARPA, the US Army, the US Navy, US Marine Corp., US Air Force, and Homeland Security.

Prior to PAC, Inc., Mr. Murray was Business Development Director at Infodata where he was responsible for establishing relationships with investment bankers, venture capitalist’s, Angel investors; and with George Mason University, Harvard, Yale, Columbia, and MIT’s entrepreneur centers and laboratories.

Mr. Murray was also with the IBM Corporation where he was Military Systems Manager. Mr. Murray was key to the establishment of IBM’s Transformation and Integration products as the de facto standard for the U.S. Air Force on all non-battlefield applications.

At Informix Software (now IBM), Mr. Murray was Director of Business Development for the Federal Division. There, he created, managed, and worked, the bid team for the single largest award for software licenses in the history of Informix and the entire federal software market; an award so large, it took the company out of all long and short-term debt, and affected all corporate annual reports for the following five years. Later, he was promoted to develop the staff to plan and pursue all federal multi-million dollar contracts across all agencies. This team won every bid the team went after over a four-year period. Mr. Murray also participated in major sales initiatives with associates in Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Sweden, and the former Soviet Union.

Mr. Murray started managing sales teams while at Applied Data Research, Inc. (now Computer Associates.) where he sold the top three largest single orders for products in the company’s history. Mr. Murray established the federal presence for the company in Europe, and created new opportunities with the major System Integrators. While in this capacity, no competitor ever won a major contract in his assigned area.

Mr. Murray is a member of Assoc. of the US Army, the Armed Forces Comm. & Electronics Association, the Army ADP Alumni Association, the Congressional Internet Caucus, Marquette University, the Marquette University Club of Washington, DC, the American Bonanza Society, the Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association, and other civic projects.

Mr. Murray served as an Armor Officer with the U.S. Army’s 1st Infantry Division, has a B.S. in Business Administration from Marquette University, is a professional pilot, and lives in Washington, DC and Nantucket. He donates his time and aircraft to “Angel Flight”, where he is a Pilot Volunteer.
